UMP Holdings Sdn. Bhd. (UMPH) or formerly known as KUKTEM Holdings Sdn. Bhd. was established on the 8th of March 2004 and is a fully owned company of Universiti Malaysia Pahang.
It was formed based on the provision of article 7(1)(a),(b) and (c) of the University and College Act 1971. Under this provision power is given to any public university to form companies, be involved in equity participation, partnership, joint ventures or any forms of collaboration to expand the role or activities of the university. The authorized capital of UMP Holdings sdn bhd is RM5 million and the paid-up capital is RM1 million.
